Crepeville is a regional restaurant chain that serves really good crepes, soups, omelettes, and sandwiches. Many items are vegetarian, and tofu is readily available. You can also create your own crepe or omelet. A made-to-order omelet with house potatoes and bagel, followed by a fruit or nutella crepe chaser is a satisfying evening meal. All of the locations have your choice of indoor or outdoor seating, which makes it a great little brunch place on the weekend. There is another location nearby in 
Davis.
Food can be eaten in house or taken to go. If you are in hurry, you can call in your order ahead of time and it will be ready for you; just make sure you call the correct location!

2007-08-07 19:51:19 I'm not sure I agree that Crepeville is a "chain," which I think implies a corporate holding or franchises. I saw a sign at Crepeville at 24th Street in Sacramento that announced a change of ownership, and listed an individual's name. So it seems we're unclear about the restaurant's model. We could say this is one of three locally-owned restaurants, perhaps, until it's clearer? What do others think? (This may need to be moved to Crepeville/Talk.) —robinlaughlin

I don't think chain implies corporate. A couple of restaurants is a chain of restaurants. Some very large chains (like In-N-Out) are not corporate owned, and some single restaurants are corporate owned (the classic "seven proctologists in search of a tax shelter cafe"). Some Denny's are owned outright and some are corporate owned. Ownership and number of locations aren't really related. (And you can even toss in the "corporate owned" by a single person shareholder, common for some types of businesses, to make it even more murky). — JabberWokky
2007-11-07 14:31:32 Crepeville is one of my all-time favorite breakfast places. I have yet to get sick of herbal tea, fresh OJ and the California Crepe. Their salads are awesome for lunch or dinner, a glass of wine is $5, and of course the dessert crepes are fantastic too. I prefer the midtown location over the one in Davis. Whoever the cook there is doesn't get it quite right (the California is over loaded with cheese rather than a good balance with the avo and sundried tomatoes, like Midtown). I've never taken anyone that ended up disappointed. —Kimi

2008-04-03 21:26:46 Their soup and salad combo, with the Fuji salad is a fantastic deal. The Fuji salad is probably the best salad I have ever had. Besides all that they have Guinness on tap for only $3.75. Atmosphere is comfortable as well. Must be close to heaven!!! —WILLIAMJTRINKLE
