The Golden Bear is a good mix of dive bar and a hip place to hang out. Sometimes they have a DJ, but the patrons don't dance much. Overall, the place has a mellow vibe. There is outdoor seating in the front patio and out back. If you want food, they have a small kitchen that serves pizza.

2007-06-26 22:26:48 Last time I was there they swiped my drivers license. Seems sorta evil. Hopefully the device only checks age and doesn't who log frequents their establishment. —CharlesMcLaughlin
