The Hellouts continue the remarkable legacy of street bands in Sacramento. Typically playing unannounced on the street or in places that otherwise do not have the right to host live performances, The Hellouts take advantage of Chapter 5.108 of the City Code which encourages the development of arts and culture in Sacramento and exempts street performers, incidental musicians, and the establishments that host them from requiring an Entertainment Permit; provided here for the encouragement of incidental music and street performances in Sacramento.
