It's hot in Sacramento. There are two basic seasons, hot or foggy. Summer temperatures range from the 80's to more that 105.

If the hot weather is getting to you, here's some things to do when it's really hot or just hope for a Delta Breeze.

The fog around Sacramento is called Tule fog, because it rises up off the wet, marshy ground. In the winter, when it's foggy, be careful on the roads. Lots of accidents are caused by people driving too fast and following too close in foggy weather.
